A call to the unity of the Spirit
Divisive topics often create fear and tension. In response to disagreement, societies may fragment, separating into groups of people who already think alike. But Jesus calls us to a different path. Guided by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to live as a countercultural community: people who pursue unity, engage differences with love, seek God’s guidance together and continue walking with God as one body whose head is Jesus Christ.

MWC invites Anabaptist churches to join together to celebrate God’s act of creation on the first Sunday of September every year.

First-time gathering in Africa strengthens unity across Anabaptist family
Convened under the theme One Body, One Voice: Strengthening Unity Across the African Anabaptist Family, the meeting brought together 35 official participants: leaders from 22 MWC member conferences in 15 countries in Africa, MWC staff and regional representatives, and an African Mennonite Central Committee staff person serving the East Africa and Sahel region.

When we practice solidarity, we consciously move from a position of power over (or under) others to power with others.
