Mennonite World Conference compiles statistics of churches that are rooted in the 16th century Radical Reformation in Europe, particularly in the Anabaptist movement. This faith family includes 2.03 million baptized believers in 87 countries.
The totals by continental region are: Africa 45%, Asia and Pacific 13%, Europe 3%, Latin America and the Caribbean 10%, North America 29%.
About two-thirds of the baptized believers are African, Asian or Latin American.
MWC membership as of September 2026 includes one international association and 109 Mennonite and Brethren in Christ national churches from 60 countries, with close to 950 000 baptized believers in 9 000 congregations.
