Community Guidelines

At MWC, we’re happy when you comment on our posts, ask questions and discuss relevant subjects with the Anabaptist family. However, we want to keep our page a respectful and safe place, so please keep in mind that when you make comments or posts on our Facebook page you’re agreeing to follow these community guidelines:

I will express myself with civility, courtesy and respect for everyone, especially for people I disagree with, even if I feel disrespected by them.

(Romans 12:17–21)

I will express my disagreements with others’ ideas without insulting, mocking or attacking them personally.

(Matthew 5:22)

I will not exaggerate others’ beliefs or make unfounded, prejudiced assumptions based on labels, categories or stereotypes. I will always extend the benefit of the doubt.

(Ephesians 4:29)

As I engage in conversation, I will remember the purpose of MWC to facilitate relationship between Anabaptist-related churches worldwide by edifying and encouraging the church.

(1 Thessalonians 5:11)

I understand that comments that don’t meet these standards may be removed. I understand that repeated behaviour that violates this contract will result in my being blocked from the site.

(Proverbs 18:7)
