La rue principale repr\u00e9sente une fronti\u00e8re invisible, d\u00e9limitant le territoire des deux gangs dominants. M\u00eame pour ceux qui n\u2019appartiennent pas aux gangs, il est dangereux de traverser cette rue.  <\/p>\n<p>Au c\u0153ur de ce quartier, se trouve l\u2019\u00e9glise mennonite Vida en Abudancia. En 2008, la paroisse s\u2019est sentie appel\u00e9e \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une \u00e9cole primaire pour prot\u00e9ger les enfants de l\u2019influence des gangs. Cependant, la violence continuait. La police et les gangs se battaient en face de l\u2019\u00e9cole et m\u00eame parfois \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019\u00e9cole avant le d\u00e9but des cours. En 2013, les risques d\u2019atteinte \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des enseignants et des \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e9taient si \u00e9lev\u00e9s que l\u2019\u00e9cole d\u00fb fermer. L\u2019\u00c9glise accompagna ses 38 \u00e9l\u00e8ves dans la transition vers une autre \u00e9cole en dehors de la communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la peur qui r\u00e9gnait dans la communaut\u00e9 et le nombre r\u00e9duit de ses membres, l\u2019\u00c9glise \u00e9tait d\u00e9termin\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9pandre l\u2019espoir. Ne pouvant plus agir au travers de l\u2019\u00e9cole, les membres restant s\u2019aventur\u00e8rent en dehors des murs protecteurs du b\u00e2timent de l\u2019\u00e9glise pour offrir des activit\u00e9s aux quatre coins du quartier, couvrant le son des armes par la \u00ab musique de Dieu \u00bb .<\/p>\n<p>Le chef du gang qui contr\u00f4lait ce territoire entendit le chant et chercha \u00e0 voir le pasteur. Avec une certaine inqui\u00e9tude, le pasteur Jos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez se pr\u00e9senta devant le chef de gang. \u00ab Personne ne touche \u00e0 ce pasteur \u00bb furent les instructions donn\u00e9es par le ca\u00efd \u00e0 ses hommes. <\/p>\n<p>Cet incident renfor\u00e7a la d\u00e9termination de l\u2019\u00c9glise. Petit \u00e0 petit, les jeunes commenc\u00e8rent \u00e0 se rendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9glise, fuyant l\u2019horreur de ce monde de violence et de ranc\u0153ur. <\/p>\n<p>L\u2019espoir commen\u00e7a \u00e0 cro\u00eetre \u00e0 nouveau. Les gens commen\u00e7aient \u00e0 revenir. L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, l\u2019\u00e9cole a pu r\u00e9ouvrir.
