Les participants de YAMEN font des rencontres et trouvent Dieu<\/h2>\n

Bogot\u00e1, Colombie \u2013 \u00ab L\u2019\u00e9vangile nous unis tous, o\u00f9 que l\u2019on soit \u00bb d\u00e9clare Laurey Segura. Elle a v\u00e9cu cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 lorsqu\u2019elle a travaill\u00e9 entant qu\u2019enseignante et \u00e9ducatrice avec le programme d\u2019\u00e9change YAMEN, un programme commun du Comit\u00e9 Central Mennonite (MCC) et de la Conf\u00e9rence Mennonite Mondiale qui a permis \u00e0 la mennonite costaricaine de servir au Cambodge pendant un an de 2016 \u00e0 2017.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Je m\u2019attendais \u00e0 beaucoup aider mais en fait, je sens que c\u2019est moi qu\u2019on a plus aid\u00e9. \u00bb Au lieu d\u2019\u00eatre comme des sortes de vacances de longue dur\u00e9e avec des moments de service gratifiants, YAMEN \u00ab fut aussi et surtout un processus de changements pour lequel je suis reconnaissante. Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas facile mais j\u2019ai beaucoup appris de moi-m\u00eame et ma mani\u00e8re de voir la vie a chang\u00e9, en bien. \u00bb<\/p>\n

 \u00ab J\u2019ai appris \u00e0 aimer mon prochain, \u00e0 servir le Seigneur J\u00e9sus, \u00e0 servir la communaut\u00e9 sans penser \u00e0 une r\u00e9compense mon\u00e9taire, \u00bb t\u00e9moigne Felizarda Atan\u00e1sia FIlimone du Mozambique qui a servi comme \u00e9ducatrice chez Creciendo Juntos de l\u2019\u00e9glise mennonite de Monte Horeb \u00e0 Soacha en Colombie.<\/p>\n

Les difficult\u00e9s de la vie peuvent amener au d\u00e9sespoir, mais \u00eatre en service au travers de YAMEN \u00e0 Podcast for Peace \u00e0 Managua au Nicaragua, a donn\u00e9 l\u2019espoir \u00e0 Jhon Alex Martinez Lozano, un Fr\u00e8re mennonite colombien, \u00ab il y a une \u00e9glise au service des gens peu importe la couleur de leur peau ou leur classe. \u00bb Il a appris ce qu\u2019\u00e9tait l\u2019hospitalit\u00e9 d\u2019une mani\u00e8re plus profonde et que \u00ab il n\u2019y a pas de distinctions entre les gens, nous sommes tous bien trait\u00e9s \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Avant de participer au programme, Felizarda sentait qu\u2019elle avait perdu sa foi. Avec YAMEN, \u00ab j\u2019esp\u00e9rais op\u00e9rer un changement dans ma vie, obtenir une vision de paix et cro\u00eetre dans la foi \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Les moments difficiles lors de l\u2019ann\u00e9e interculturelle de service de Laurey lui ont appris \u00e0 \u00ab avoir la foi en Dieu comme un espoir dans les moments difficiles. Malgr\u00e9 les bonnes et les mauvaises choses, nous apprenons et ces exp\u00e9riences deviendront de bons souvenirs, de futures histoires et de bonnes le\u00e7ons.<\/p>\n

Durant son service chez Youth Equipped with Skill of Internship Center, Develop Our Village Economy \u00e0 Phnom Penh, \u00ab j\u2019ai appris combien il est important de faire des disciples et d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 leurs c\u00f4t\u00e9s avant, durant et apr\u00e8s comme un mentor et un fr\u00e8re et s\u0153ur dans la foi \u00bb affirme Laurey.<\/p>\n

Un conseil pour ceux qui envisagent un service YAMEN ?<\/p>\n

\u00ab Sourire toujours, parler de l\u2019amour de Dieu, parler de son pays \u00bb sugg\u00e8re Felizarda. Elle conseille de ne pas avoir honte de ce que l\u2019on ne sait pas, mais de respecter et d\u2019apprendre des autres, en particulier des personnes d\u2019autres cultures. Les futurs YAMENers doivent \u00ab partager avec la famille, les amis et participer au groupe de jeune de l\u2019\u00e9glise, chercher Dieu toujours lorsqu\u2019ils se sentent angoiss\u00e9s, chercher un ami en qui se confier et parler de leurs pr\u00e9occupations pour ne pas se sentir seul. \u00bb<\/p>\n
