Dans les articles qui suivent, les auteurs r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent \u00e0 la question :&nbsp;Comment l\u2019amour du Christ nous motive t-il et nous guide t-il pour aller vers les \u00e9trangers dans notre contexte local ?<\/em><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<h3><strong>Chants de la Trinit\u00e9 et du shalom<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Nous, \u00c9glise Fr\u00e8res en Christ du Zimbabwe, partageons les convictions et les pratiques de la famille anabaptiste mondiale. Nos cantiques refl\u00e8tent nos convictions, nos pens\u00e9es et notre th\u00e9ologie. Pendant la plupart des cultes, dans les paroisses rurales et urbaines, on chante le n\u00b0 75 de notre recueil de chants en Zulu Amagama okuhlabelela: \u201cSinomhlobo onguJesu unothando\u201d (J\u00e9sus est un merveilleux ami).<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Pendant les mois de mai et juin 2016, une enqu\u00eate rapide a montr\u00e9 que, non seulement c\u2019est le cantique choisi lors des r\u00e9unions du conseil de district, mais que la plupart des paroissiens mentionnent qu\u2019il revient tr\u00e8s souvent pendant les cultes de cette p\u00e9riode. Il est m\u00eame chant\u00e9 lors des veill\u00e9es fun\u00e8bres. Il exprime notre foi en J\u00e9sus. Ce cantique d\u00e9crit le lien direct de J\u00e9sus avec Dieu : J\u00e9sus ne ressemble pas \u00e0 nos autres amis ; il n\u2019entretient pas de ressentiment ; il nous aide r\u00e9ellement. Il revient choisir son propre peuple. J\u00e9sus ne d\u00e9\u00e7oit jamais. Il revient appeler son peuple par amour. Ceux qui le cherchent sont appel\u00e9s \u00e0 venir \u00e0 J\u00e9sus car il les \u00e9loignera de leurs p\u00e9ch\u00e9s.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>La derni\u00e8re strophe appelle les croyants \u00e0 marcher dans l\u2019amour de J\u00e9sus comptant sur sa promesse d\u2019\u00eatre vainqueurs. Le cantique n\u00b0 4 du recueil Zulu est souvent utilis\u00e9 par les Fr\u00e8res en Christ. Voici un autre chant qui d\u00e9crit nos convictions concernant Dieu.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<h3><strong>Nous croyons au <em>shalom<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Le shalom est une des convictions qui nous identifient \u00e0 la famille anabaptiste du monde entier. Cette conviction s\u2019exprime de diverses mani\u00e8res. D\u2019abord, c\u2019est l\u2019absence de guerre et de<\/div>\n<div>conflits au niveau communautaire et national. Le Zimbabwe a connu de telles p\u00e9riodes. Feu l\u2019\u00e9v\u00eaque Steven Ndlovu \u00e9tait \u00e0 la t\u00eate de notre \u00e9glise pendant les troubles au Matabeleland dans les ann\u00e9es 1980.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Il a mobilis\u00e9 les responsables nationaux des d\u00e9nominations [chr\u00e9tiennes] pour rencontrer Joshua Nkomo et Robert Mugabe, ce qui a d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 sur la cessation du conflit<\/div>\n<div>sanglant entre les dissidents soutenant Nkomo et la Cinqui\u00e8me Brigade des forces de d\u00e9fense du Zimbabwe. (Ce r\u00e9cit est rapport\u00e9 dans The Gender of Piety de Wendy Urban-Mead.) Les responsables de l\u2019\u00e9glise n\u2019ont pas pris parti dans le conflit, mais se sont exprim\u00e9s en faveur du shalom du Seigneur.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Mme Madlela a v\u00e9cu le shalom \u00e0 un niveau personnel. Elle a \u00e9chapp\u00e9 miraculeusement \u00e0 un incendie dans sa maison.Quand elle a vu l\u2019incendiaire entre les mains<\/div>\n<div>de la police, elle a dit : \u00ab Mon fils, pourquoi essaies-tu de me tuer quand je ne t\u2019ai pas fait de tort ? Je ne t\u2019en tiens pas rancune.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Je prie simplement que le Seigneur touche ton c\u0153ur et que tu connaisses sa puissance salvatrice. \u00bb Les hymnes de l\u2019\u00c9glise Fr\u00e8res en Christ affirment que nous croyons en un Dieu trinitaire. Nous les chantons avec ferveur. Lorsque nous chantons, nous affirmons ce que nous croyons ensemble en tant qu\u2019anabaptistes pour suivre J\u00e9sus et vivre le shalom.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><em>Bekithemba Dube est conf\u00e9rencier \u00e0 l\u2019institut&nbsp;Biblique de Ekuphileni \u00e0 la mission de Mtshabezi, une&nbsp;des plus grandes stations missionnaires des Fr\u00e8res&nbsp;en Christ du Zimbabwe. Il a enseign\u00e9 au Government&nbsp;Teachers\u2019 College ; il a coordonn\u00e9 les programme&nbsp;VIH \/ SIDA de la BICC au Zimbabwe ; et pendant&nbsp;de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, il a traduit les sermons en&nbsp;anglais ou ndebele.
