Avec le 500<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire dans seulement dix ans, plusieurs personnes se demandent comment la CMM comm\u00e9morera l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 25 juillet 2015, un atelier au Rassemblement de la CMM \u00e0 Harrisburg en Pennsylvanie a abord\u00e9 cette question \u00ab&nbsp;De la R\u00e9forme 2017 \u00e0 l\u2019anabaptisme 2025&nbsp;: comment l\u2019\u00c9glise mondiale comm\u00e9morera-t-elle le 500<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire?&nbsp;\u00bb et a fourni quelques indications de ce qui pourrait se faire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hanspeter Jecker, Astrid von Schlachta et John D. Roth ont dirig\u00e9 l\u2019atelier. Ils ont demand\u00e9 des suggestions aux participants et ont expliqu\u00e9 le contexte de la question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bref, la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la question se r\u00e9sume en un mot&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;sagement&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;La mani\u00e8re de comm\u00e9morer nos origines nous aide \u00e0 comprendre qui nous sommes aujourd\u2019hui&nbsp;\u00bb dit John D. Roth. Il nous met en garde contre l\u2019exub\u00e9rance&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;nous comm\u00e9morons une division d\u2019\u00e9glise.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Astrid von Schlachta fait remarquer que le premier rassemblement de la CMM a mis l\u2019accent sur le renouveau, le christocentrisme, le danger du mat\u00e9rialisme et sur l\u2019\u00e9glise comme premier objet de la mission<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John D. Roth souligne que le renouveau est encore un sujet d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat aujourd\u2019hui. En 1925, il y avait peu d\u2019anabaptistes, mais aujourd\u2019hui il y en a 1,9 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ajoute que les planificateurs des \u00e9v\u00e9nements voudront \u00eatre en communication avec les 103 groupes qui font partie de la CMM ainsi que les groupes qui ne sont pas membres mais apparent\u00e9s, tels les amish, les groupes Old Colony et des groupes des \u00e9glises libres en Allemagne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hanspeter Jecker dit que les comm\u00e9morations devraient refl\u00e9ter nos convictions th\u00e9ologiques, nos partenariats \u0153cum\u00e9niques et notre r\u00e9alit\u00e9 mondiale. Il a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un ensemble de propositions qui comprend une comm\u00e9moration d\u00e9cennale qui s\u2019\u00e9talera de 2017 \u00e0 2025\/27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provisoirement intitul\u00e9s RENEWAL 2015, les comm\u00e9morations comprendraient un \u00e9v\u00e9nement r\u00e9gional tenu \u00e0 tous les deux ans dans chacun des cinq continents.
