Un des quatre premiers pasteurs de la MCWA, Daniel Djin-ale a \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9 pour planter une \u00e9glise \u00e0 Bissau, la capitale du pays. Pasteur Daniel Djin-ale \u00e9tudie la gestion d\u2019entreprise et enseigne \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Bissau. Il pr\u00e9voit d\u2019organiser des \u00e9tudes bibliques le vendredi soir pour commencer \u00e0 former une paroisse mennonite.<\/p>\n
Timothy Koiba se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 retourner dans son pays d\u2019origine, la Guin\u00e9e, en janvier, pour y planter une \u00e9glise \u00e0 Nz\u00e9r\u00e9kor\u00e9, la deuxi\u00e8me grande ville du pays.<\/p>\n
Apr\u00e8s avoir plant\u00e9 des \u00e9glises en Gambie et en Guin\u00e9e-Bissau, Beryl Forrester de EMM (Eastern Mennonite Mission) accompagne les pasteurs africains pour qu\u2019ils deviennent ind\u00e9pendant dans la gestion de l\u2019\u00e9glise grandissante. Selon Beryl Forrester, \u00ab Beaucoup de jeunes consid\u00e8rent la th\u00e9ologie anabaptiste comme une alternative viable \u00e0 une \u00e9glise qui lutte pour conserver un Royaume de Christ h\u00e9rit\u00e9 du pass\u00e9. Beaucoup recherchent une communaut\u00e9 de croyants anim\u00e9s par la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 transformatrice du Saint Esprit, par le d\u00e9sir d\u2019agrandir le Royaume de Dieu ici-bas maintenant et de vivre en suivant l\u2019exemple de J\u00e9sus Christ. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Pour Adriano Mbackeh, la pr\u00e9dication, la louange et l\u2019\u00e9tude biblique doivent tous \u00eatre centr\u00e9s sur J\u00e9sus. \u00ab J\u00e9sus est au centre de la Bible. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Deux nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s ont fait surface lorsque le pasteur Samuel Bobor, administrateur d\u2019un institut biblique \u00e0 Freetown, au Sierra Leone, a contact\u00e9 EMM pour l\u2019inviter \u00e0 collaborer au Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
La MCWA collaborera avec l\u2019Institut biblique de Bobor, Spirit of Faith, pour enseigner l\u2019anabaptisme aux responsables en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest.<\/p>\n
