Receta: Huevos pericos (Huevos revueltos al estilo colombiano)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aunque no soy buena en la cocina, organic\u00e9 un desayuno t\u00edpico colombiano para compartir con mi familia anfitriona. Guiada por las recetas que enviaron mis padres desde Colombia, descubr\u00ed que las cosas hechas con amor son deliciosas. <\/p>\n

A mi familia anfitriona le encant\u00f3 esta sencilla comida llamada huevos pericos (huevos revueltos con cebolla y tomates picados \u2013 la favorita de mi mam\u00e1 anfitriona), panqueques gruesos hechos utilizando la receta secreta de mi padre (todo un \u00e9xito con mis hermanas y hermano anfitriones), y arepas<\/em> (hechas con harina de trigo, manteca y sal). El chocolate caliente directamente de Colombia acompa\u00f1\u00f3 al resto de este desayuno que nos hizo sentir como si estuvi\u00e9ramos en mi pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Era una ma\u00f1ana perfecta para compartir m\u00fasica colombiana mientras com\u00edamos, compar\u00e1bamos recetas de panqueques con mi mam\u00e1 anfitriona, y, lo m\u00e1s importante, nos sent\u00e1bamos a comer alrededor de la mesa con la familia para disfrutar de las historias de cada uno.<\/p>\n

Un pedacito de Colombia vino a visitarnos mientras com\u00edamos en pijamas, mostrando la confianza que existe entre una familia.<\/p>\n

Huevos Pericos (para 6 personas):<\/strong><\/p>\n

12 huevos (2 por persona)<\/p>\n

2 cebollas medianas<\/p>\n

2 tomates grandes<\/p>\n

1 cucharada de aceite<\/p>\n

1 cucharadita de sal<\/p>\n

1. Poner las cebollas y los tomates en una licuadora hasta que est\u00e9n bien mezclados.<\/p>\n

2. En una olla grande, poner a calentar el aceite y comenzar a fre\u00edr la mezcla de cebolla y tomates que se licu\u00f3.<\/p>\n

3. En otro recipiente, batir los huevos y la sal para que todo est\u00e9 bien mezclado.<\/p>\n

4. Una vez que la mezcla de cebolla y tomates est\u00e9 caliente, poner los huevos en la misma olla y revolver hasta que empiecen a endurecer.<\/p>\n
