Roth, secretario de la Comisi\u00f3n de Fe y Vida del Congreso Mundial Menonita, fue nombrado como editor general de la Global Anabaptist Mennonite Encyclopedia Online (Enciclopedia Global Anabautista Menonita en l\u00ednea, GAMEO por su sigla en ingl\u00e9s \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gameo.org\">www.gameo.org<\/a>). La junta de GAMEO vot\u00f3 por unanimidad el 19 de mayo de 2017 para transferir la supervisi\u00f3n del proyecto al Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism (Instituto para el Estudio del Anabautismo Global, ISGA por su sigla en ingl\u00e9s), el cual Roth dirige, en Goshen College (Universidad de Goshen), Indiana, E.E.U.U.<\/p>\n<p>GAMEO es una enciclopedia virtual, creada con la finalidad de facilitar el acceso digital a los cinco vol\u00famenes de la <em>Mennonite Encyclopedia<\/em> (Enciclopedia Menonita), la cual contiene 12.000 entradas originales en ingl\u00e9s, muchas de ellas actualizadas con informaci\u00f3n reciente, asimismo cuenta con 4.000 nuevas entradas aportadas por editores voluntarios y comit\u00e9s regionales de alrededor del mundo. El corpus contin\u00faa creciendo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn la medida que el alcance de la investigaci\u00f3n anabautista-menonita [en Goshen College] se ha ampliado para incluir a la iglesia global, es apropiado que podamos implementar la larga tradici\u00f3n de generar \u2018estudio acad\u00e9mico para la iglesia\u2019 con el objetivo de apoyar ahora la nueva visi\u00f3n global de GAMEO en la era digital\u201d, dice Roth.<\/p>\n<p>GAMEO est\u00e1 comprometida en ampliar los contenidos de futuros art\u00edculos para incluir de manera m\u00e1s amplia a toda la iglesia global.<\/p>\n<p>Con la incorporaci\u00f3n de GAMEO bajo su supervisi\u00f3n, el ISGA cambiar\u00e1 el enfoque de su Global Anabaptist Wiki (Wiki Anabautista Global, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anabaptistwiki.org\">www.anabaptistwiki.org<\/a>) a fin de convertirse en un archivo digital para la iglesia local y un repositorio de recursos digitales como el <em>Anabaptist Dictionary of the Bible<\/em> (Diccionario Anabautista de la Biblia), la Biblioteca Digital Anabautista, adem\u00e1s de materiales relacionados con incursiones de anabautistas-menonitas en espacios ecum\u00e9nicos.<\/p>\n<p>El ISGA continuar\u00e1 apoyando el \u201cBearing Witness Stories Project\u201d (el proyecto de historias <em>Somos Testigos<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martyrstories.org\">www.martyrstories.org<\/a>), el cual destaca historias de cristianos anabautistas-menonitas que han sufrido por su fe.<\/p>\n<p>El Congreso Mundial Menonita es uno de los seis propietarios institucionales de GAMEO junto con el Comit\u00e9 Central Menonita, Mennonite Historical Society of Canada (Sociedad Hist\u00f3rica Menonita de Canad\u00e1), Mennonite Church USA (Iglesia Menonita de Estados Unidos), Mennonite Brethren Historical Commission (Comisi\u00f3n Hist\u00f3rica de los Hermanos Menonitas) y el Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism (Instituto para el Estudio del Anabautismo Mundial).
