La incorporaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente al equipo de miembros directivos del CMM es un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo respondemos a las necesidades de nuestros miembros\u201d, explica C\u00e9sar Garc\u00eda, secretario general del CMM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siaka Traor\u00e9 ha sido nombrado miembro ex officio del Congreso Mundial Menonita como representante para \u00c1frica, con efecto inmediato. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo me uno a este equipo como experto, pero vengo con fe y convicci\u00f3n de que, si Dios as\u00ed lo dispuso, me utilizar\u00e1 para el bien del CMM\u201d declar\u00f3 Siaka Traor\u00e9. \u201cMi oraci\u00f3n es que el CMM responda a las necesidades de sus miembros\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El \u00f3rgano decisorio del Congreso Mundial Menonita es el Concilio General, cuyos delegados representan a nuestras iglesias miembro alrededor del mundo. De dicho Concilio se elige un Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo, y ese grupo es dirigido por los miembros directivos: el secretario general, presidente, vicepresidente y tesorero. Actualmente, estos cargos los ocupan C\u00e9sar Garc\u00eda (Am\u00e9rica Latina), Henk Stenvers (Europa), Lisa Carr-Pries (Am\u00e9rica del Norte) y Sunoko Lin\u202f(Asia). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW36475639 BCX0\" lang=\"ES-ES\" xml:lang=\"ES-ES\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36475639 BCX0\">Estos cuatro cargos no pueden representar a las cinco regiones que conforman la membres\u00eda del CMM. En las reuniones del <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/es\/concilio-general\/\">Concilio General<\/a> del 2025, se decidi\u00f3 que el <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/es\/concilio-general\/\">Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo<\/a> nombrara a un miembro directivo ex officio para garantizar la plena representaci\u00f3n continental. Esta persona deber\u00eda ser de \u00c1frica, la regi\u00f3n actualmente ausente en los miembros directivos.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los miembros directivos se re\u00fanen dos veces al a\u00f1o en persona y una vez al mes en\u202fl\u00ednea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reverendo Siaka Traor\u00e9 es pastor de la Iglesia Evang\u00e9lica Menonita de Burkina Faso. Obtuvo una maestr\u00eda en misiones de la Facultad de Teolog\u00eda Evang\u00e9lica de Bangui (FATEB por su sigla en franc\u00e9s). Ha colaborado con el Comit\u00e9 Central Menonita en un programa de paz en \u00c1frica Occidental. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW23250116 BCX0\" lang=\"ES-ES\" xml:lang=\"ES-ES\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW23250116 BCX0\">Dentro del Congreso Mundial Menonita, Siaka<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW23250116 BCX0\">Traor\u00e9 ha servido como presidente de la <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/stories\/tag\/comision-de-diaconos\/\">Comisi\u00f3n de <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/es\/comisiones\/comision-de-diaconos\/\">Di\u00e1conos<\/a> (2015-2022) y como representante regional para \u00c1frica Central y Occidental desde 2022 hasta su nombramiento como miembro directivo.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPara m\u00ed, este nombramiento expresa el deseo del CMM de incluir a todos sus miembros, de todas partes del mundo, en la gesti\u00f3n de la organizaci\u00f3n. Dada su composici\u00f3n, el CMM ha adoptado la imagen de un mosaico. Al unirme al equipo directivo, queremos hacer visible este mosaico\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Siaka\u202fTraor\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDurante muchos a\u00f1os, como l\u00edder de la iglesia con un coraz\u00f3n de servicio, tanto en su pa\u00eds natal, Burkina Faso, como a nivel internacional, participando como orador invitado, mentor, constructor de paz experto e int\u00e9rprete cultural, Siaka se ha ganado un gran reconocimiento en la familia del CMM.
