In late April this year, heavy rains pounded the province of Benguela and caused floodings in many neighbourhoods, destroying hundreds of homes, public facilities, and forcing residents to seek refuge on rooftops or higher grounds. More than 50,000 people have been displaced and there have been at least 45 fatalities. A group of young interdenominational Christians has been providing urgent supplies to the victims. Awaiting confirmation if any of our churches are affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
