We are diverse in language, culture and history, yet united by baptism, discipleship and the call to peace,\u201d says Danisa Ndlovu, manager of church relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTogether becoming the good news\u201d is the theme of this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/en\/anabaptist-world-fellowship-sunday\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"11439\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anabaptist World Fellowship Sunday<\/a> resource package. The stories and testimonies were organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/en\/contact-us\/regional-representatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">regional representatives<\/a> from Asia: <strong>Agus Mayanto<\/strong>, <strong>Jeremiah Choi<\/strong> and <strong>Vikal Pravin Rao<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every year, Mennonite World Conference (MWC) circulates a worship resource package to assist congregations around the world with celebrating this day. With a shared theme, Scripture passages, prayers and testimonies, congregations can enter more fully into fellowship, intercession and thanksgiving with and for the global faith family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s resource package contains a complete worship liturgy of Communion prayers and suggested songs, a sermon reflection on each of the three Scripture passages, testimonies from Myanmar and India and children\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe encourage our congregations to consult this MWC <a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/en\/resourcecategory\/worship-resource-2\/\" data-type=\"resourcecategory\" data-id=\"1365\">worship resource<\/a> for their service planning. Worship leaders are welcome to use or adapt whichever parts of this resource package that are most relevant to their context. There is no obligation to use every component of the package \u2013 it is meant to bless not burden. The worship theme is intended to bring us together across geography, culture and time,\u201d says Janet Plenert, director of Communion Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/mwc-cmm.org\/en\/anabaptist-world-fellowship-sunday\/one-lunch-offering\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"5685\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u2018One lunch\u2019 offerings<\/a> may be taken on AWFS to give to MWC to help our global community to continue as a foreshadowing of the kingdom of God in the midst of our society,\u201d says Bruce Campbell-Janz, director of Communications and Engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe welcome your comments, photos and reflections about AWFS to share with other members of our global faith family.
